It's the future.
The year 2009.
Let me tell you about my last two and a half years.....
It was the year 2007. Several months after we got together, she ended it. It went something like this:
Exterior. Mid Evening, Driveway.
Enter Tim, Mom, Dad, James, Leslie.
Mom "Everyone get into the car, lets go to whitespot!"
Group Enters Car.
Tim receives text message on his cellular phone.
Text "I don't think we should see each other anymore"
Exit Phone.
Tim "That sucks."

It was August 4th, 2007. We were excited for the biggest show of our lives.
1am: Tim screws up his life.
1pm: We arrive at the festival, Alive Inside 2007, energized and ready to go!
2pm?: John meets his girlfriend that he dates for a lonnnggg time.
3pm: We sound check for the biggest show of our career as Fortunate Downfall.
4pm: We play Alive inside 2007, infront of 600-800 people, and fail miserably.
4:45pm: For the next couple hours, bands and comedians, I believe some spoke aswell.
10pm: TFK (thousand foot krutch) plays. I slept through it but I heard they did just great.
September 2007: I meet Alanna. We went out for about 14 months. She lived in langley so it wasn't always easy living 45 minutes apart driving, when neither of us has our N.
November 26th, 2008: Alanna breaks up with me over the phone.
Don't get me wrong, I loved Alanna and she deserves more than two lines in this blog. But that was almost a year ago and I'm done crying about it, certainly done writing about it.
Jumping around, in 2007-2008 Fortunate Downfall recorded a five song EP, never released it, and eventually broke up. We said it was commitments. We all had better things going on in our lives and the band wasn't really doing anything or going anywhere.
After I graduated in June 2008, I worked at a warehouse called Scan Designs in Coquitlam. We dealt with Martha Stewart as well as Couch Potato furniture. My boss was a jerk, so after about two months I left.
On September 18th, 2008 I started at The Source by Circuit City, which is now The Source Electronics by Bell Canada Ltd. (long story there...). A man named Avi hired me, as his boss Chris (the manager) gave him the OK. Two weeks in, Chris left and a new manager started named Buffy. She was the best manager I ever had working there, and an awesome friend too. She recently left the company and now works in maple ridge, as it is closer to her family and home, but we still miss her. Now Avi is the manager and, although he is new at it , is doing a good job. He came into a bit of a mess and is trying his best to straighten it up.
In March 2009 I applied at a school called PAVI (Pacific Audio Visual Institute) and was accepted. I start my Audio Engineering and Production program on September 24th. Excited! :)
---SUMMER 2009--- (Greatest summer of my life)
This summer, a new addition to our group took place. THE GATTOS!!!!!!!
Steve, Tiffany, and Kirsten!!! Coolest people ever. Introduced me to Owl City (check them out!) and HIMYM (How I met your mother) which is the best show ever. And DIMSUM!!! YUMM :D They are awesome, all around awesome.
Also, I went to the drive in movie theatre a lot this summer. Good times.
Me and Joel fell asleep under the stars in my back yard, while listening to John Mayor on my new (at the time) Macbook.
Now John is at PLBC, Joel is at BCCA, and I am at PAVI. All of us are doing our own thing. Hopefully Summer '10 will best this last one we just had!
That's the best I can do to fill you in.
Thanks for stopping by!
